This Year Smackdown looks pretty cool. The downside is that its still pretty similar to 2008. Fresh this year is the roster that is pretty awsome. So far they have announced Kofi Kingston,Santino, Shelton Benjamin and Beth Phonex as the newest characters and returning characters John Cena, Mark Henry, FInlay and Kelly Kelly. The New tag team match seems like a fresh edition because it changes the whole mechanics of a match. For example your tag team will share one Meter so your really dependent on your partners. Other editions such as hot tags make the matches more exicitng. Still after a while these mechanic may be a tad gimmicky.
Also new this year is the create a move feature. You can chain up to about 5 different animation
so your moves can be pretty creative. Another nice edition is that you can map that move to any superstar or created superstar. You can also create tag team special moves.
